Watercolour and Gouache Work Portfolio section includes painting pages (that follow) containing examples of my  watercolour and gouache work finished over the past decade or so.  This work is  on  Arches Paper or occasionally,  ‘Langton’ paper.  The paintings are based on photographs taken in Ireland and abroad.   While I have been using both media for many years, in recent times I paint using only watercolour on Arches’ paper.   An example of such a watercolour  is shown below.

The fluidity and dynamism of this medium are always challenging, but when they comes off it is terrific!
